If their is anything we neglect to protect from the freeze it would be our Anti-Siphon valves. Anti-siphon valve protection is easy. These little guys are usually the first thing to break in a hard freeze and the last thing from anyone’s mind. Yes, we’ve covered our beloved Bougainvilleas and Lantanas. Heck! we’ve even put a sweater on Fido so he doesn’t catch a cold. A broken Anti-siphon valve could cost up to 400.00 to replace. The average Five gallon plant will set you back sixteen bucks. So don’t be ripe and cover that pipe!
